This ultra-limited TYJ12 jacket—one of only 20 pieces worldwide—is entirely handmade. Just three were crafted exclusively for Gullam Tokyo, based on a reworked 1910s two-button, single-breasted peak-lapel silhouette, developed through our extensive tailoring research. The jacket features a custom ultra-light silk, linen, and cotton fabric woven by Tessitura Bertazzon in Treviso, paired with a striped silk lining from Tessitura Mauri in Como, and authentic Bemberg cupro sleeve linings for exceptional softness and breathability. Each piece undergoes a meticulous, 8-hour garment dyeing process in our studio using organic plant dyes and salt, resulting in a unique tone, sheen, and texture. Additional details include hand-cut patch pockets, fully functional hand-sewn buttonhole cuffs, real mother-of-pearl buttons from Padova, and no fewer than nine hand-stitched buttonholes—each taking 8–10 minutes to finish using pure silk thread from Bozzolo Beale Milano Seia. Every jacket is individually signed and numbered by the designer. We recommend handling the buttons and buttonholes with care, and suggest professional cleaning or gentle cold hand washing with the buttons protected in foil or plastic.
